12 = -4(-6x-3)
Expand
12 = 24x + 12
That leaves
24x = 12-12 = 0
x = 0

12 = -4(-6x -3)
= 12/-4 = -6x-3
= -3 = -6x-3
= -3 + 3 = -6x
= 0 = -6x
0/-6 = x
= x = 0
Sorry if its to long, but basically you need to transpose the equation. When you bring a number over to the other side e.g like with the -3 on the right, the the left side, its sign changes from a negative (-) to a positive (+)
ask if you need any more help 😀

12 = -4(-6x – 3)
distribute 4 across the enclosed quantity:
12 = 24x + 12
subtract 12 from both sides of equation:
0 = 24x
divide both sides by 24
x = 0
-
12= -4(-6x-3)
Use the principle of BODMAS ie solve in order (bracket, of. division, multiplication, addition and subtraction)
12= 24x+12
12-12= 24x
24x =12-12
24x =0
x= 0/24
x=0
these are the exact steps
next time please do your homework yourself, pay attention in class and ask the teacher your difficulties. At the end of the day we are not going to appear for your exams and pass the class for you!

FTP
12 = -4(6x-3)
12/-4 = -6x-3
-3 = -6x-3
-3+3 = -6x
0 = -6x
x = 0

-4(-6x-3)=12
24x+12=12
24x=0
x=0

First,
12=24x+12,
0=24x,,
x=0.

i tell you the answer, x=0
