Have you ever had an OOBE (out of body experiences) which is astral projection? If you already know how to do it consciously could you give me some tips on how to achieve it?

A voluntary out-of-body experience, or an “astral projection,” is a different story. A person trying to achieve an out-of-body experience in order to connect with spirits or the spirit world is practicing the occult. There are two forms of this. The first is called the “phasing” model, in which the person tries to find new spiritual truth by accessing a part of the mind that is “shut off” during everyday life. This practice is connected to Buddhism or postmodernism and the belief that enlightenment is achieved from looking within oneself. The other form, called the “mystical” model, is when the person tries to exit the body entirely, their spirit traveling to another plane that is not connected to the physical world at all.
The Bible explicitly warns against occult practice, or sorcery, in Galatians 5:19-20, saying that those who practice it will not inherit God’s kingdom. God’s commands are always for our good, and He commands us to stay far away from occult practices because there is great potential, when trying to access the spiritual world, of opening oneself up to demons who can tell us lies about God and confuse our minds. In Job 4:12-21, Eliphaz describes being visited by a lying spirit in a vision that tells him God does not regard humans and that He doesn’t care for us, which is false! The phasing model is also futile, according to Scripture. Jeremiah 17:9 says “the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately sick; who can understand it?” and 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 says “When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.” It is futile to search for infinite wisdom inside the finite mind of man.

I am a Catholic Christian and I do not believe astral projection is a sin. It is a natural ability that anyone can develop. I believe it is a God-Given gift and there is nothing satanic about it. It is done through meditation and we were all born with the ability to astral project. I also believe your intent depends on making it a sin or not. For example, if you use astral projection to help people and deepen your relationship with God then it would be a good intent. But if you use astral projection to do morally wrong activities like having lust while projecting then it would be a bad intent and therefore a sin. Think of it this way – Going outside your house is not a sin. But when you go outside and you do bad things like smoking or killing then you would be sinning. But if you go outside of your house to go to church or help people then it would be a good thing. I don’t think astral projection is demonic or satanic. Many Christians might say this is demonic because they don’t fully understand this ability and therefore say it’s a sin. Many pagans and Wiccans practice astral projection for the wrong reasons for harming people or practicing their spells. If the only way to induce astral projection was through drugs then this would be unnatural and not God-Given but since you can do this naturally through meditation it’s not wrong. Overall, I believe astral projection is not a sin and it depends on your INTENT. Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions.
Good Luck

I hate the term “out of body experienced”… mostly used by people that call themselves “paranormal investigators”
Tips:
*Practice astral projecting every night.
*Focus on a flame during the day or meditate.
*Don’t eat couple hours before attempting.
*When you feel the sensations/vibrations do Not do anything. Do not think about anything, just continue as you normally were.
Most people screw up when they feel the sensations. They start thinking “Oh! I’m doing it!”.
Well truth is, you won’t if you get that thought in your head…. well a small chance that you will.

I haven’t, but my husband did once many years ago. He was attacked during it, though, and never did it again.
