here is the url. mathbits.com/Caching/G64980.html
if you could provide some answers, i’d appreciate it

1. First use the sine ratio to get the perpendicular height(PH):
sin 30° = PH / 8
PH = 8 sin 30°
PH = 4
Area = Base x PH
Area = 18 x 4 = 72 square whatevers
 Area of cylinder = πr² H
Area = π x 4² x 6 = 302 in³ [to the nearest in³]
 y = 2 is a line parallel to the xaxis and 2 units above the xaxis
so the point (2, 4) is 2 units vertically above the line y = 2
reflecting the point in the line y = 2 keeps the same xcoordinate … but the ycoordinate reduces by 4 units … from 2 units above to 2 units below the line y = 2 … so the coordinates of point P’ are (2, 0) … so answer (2)
then you want 72 – 302² = 52900
and that takes you to #8 … here http://mathbits.com/Caching/G52900.html
