I got a call from 269-768-2057 just now, i answered it and it was an automatic machine person saying “this is our last attempt before we close your file” press 1 to speak with an agent and press 3 to close your file automatically.
i pressed 1, and waited to talk to an agent to ask what it was, and as soon as they answered, they hung up! i heard the phone click and everything!
can anyone give me any information on this? is it some sort of company or something? when i called the number back, it said something about calling the phone number removal service or something.
another number that keeps calling me and doesn’t answer when i call back is 763-566-1530
can anyone help me out?

I agree. Sounds like telemarketing. You need to pull up the ‘National Do Not Call Registry’ site and learn how to prevent telemarketers from contacting you. The site is www.donotcall.gov. Plunk in numbers that you wish to have removed from telemarketers lists. It’s that simple.
Also, contact your telephone provider and determine where the call came from. AND, in the future, hang up when you get a call like that. No legit caller would call you without providing you with who they are, why they are calling or identifying information.
Don’t call these numbers back, report them to your telephone provider at once. That way, when the calls come in, they can ‘hopefully’ trace the source of where the calls are coming from.

PS…I did a reverse phone look up for the numbers (both are unlisted numbers). Give this info to your phone provider. Here’s the info I got…

Type it into your search engine. If other people are getting these calls there are places online you can find out who it is by their blogs.
Okay I put it in, but had to take off the last four digits. It is probablly a telemarketers number with a lot of extensions. Take a look and you will see all the comments. 269-768 ….
