I would not recommend this as it would ᴘᴇᴇl off. You should buy heat sensitive paint from your local hardware store.

Like everyone else said, I would think that would start a fire. If you are looking for different colors, I got a bunch of those party bulbs at a dollar store one time. I actually still have them from awhile back and never used them. You can get those bulbs at any common store though like Walmart and Target. They are not expensive. Stores would probably have a good selection now in the Halloween decorations.

Not a realistic thing to do if you want to change the light color. Buy the appropriately colored bulb. Nail polish would burn and possibly ignite. To make matters worse, most nail polish would tend to be opaque and not offer any color through the bulb.

Well let me put it this way,Please do not do that why U ask well Nail polish is very flammable so IT might go on fire just to tell U that so don’t do it,And if u want a Different color U can always bye one.

That’s a big NO dear. It will raise the operating temperature of the bulb
and the entire fixture.
Also many nail polishes contain nitrocellulose. Very flammable.

No. Nail polish isn’t heat friendly. A large discount store or hardware store carries party light-bulbs.

absolutely. its a terrible idea if you want to use the bulb, but I’m sure you could figure out how to put polish on a light bulb. (hint: use the brush)

better to buy the colored bulb than keep painting or polishing it.

No you would need a high temp enamel. Some model aircraft paint might work or better yet engine enamel; but that might be hard to get in small amounts.
