I got two, two month old rabbits. Do I need to get the vaccinated for rabies? A doctor mentioned it to my relative to get them vaccinated for rabies.

  • Rabbits do not need to be vaccinated against rabies. There is no rabies vaccine approved for use in rabbits anyway. In order to contract rabies, they would need to be bitten by a rabid animal and survive for months afterwards. The sheer stress of the attack would kill a rabbit.

  • Rabbit Rabies Vaccine

  • Rabbits need no vaccines at all. And even though they can get rabies it’s very rare.

  • They surely do
