Since today was 9/9/09… my math teacher wanted us to find problems that equal nine.
ex: 65*9 =585
5+8+5= 18
1+8=9

There is an infinite amount of combinations to equal any number.

2+3+4=9

3 X 3 =9

How about the super basic one:
1 * 9 = 9
2 * 9 = 18 (1+8 = 9)
3 * 9 = 27 (2+7 = 9)
…and so on.

2+5+2 = 9
9×3=27 and 2+7=9
9×62 = 558; 5+5+8=18; 1+8=9

The sort of questions you could come up with will depend on what level of math you’re taking.
However, the trick to creating a problem like the one you used as an example is to find a number whose digits will add up to 18, 81, 333, or 90 and which is divisible by 9.
Hope that helps.

3 time 3 9#1

Actually any multiple of 9 follows that same pattern
3 x 9 = 27 , 7 + 2 = 9
36, 54, 63, 72, 81, 90, etc.

Well, there are millions of possible combinations what can equal 9.
1*9=9
3*3=9
9/1=9
81/9=9
5+4=9
square root of 81=9
145=9

There are millions of possiblities that you can try. Pretty much any number + or – another number can make nine.

9*6=54
5+4=9

8×9=72
7+2=9
