Do you pay for dry cleaning before or after you pick up the item?

Usually when you pick it up. But some cleaners will let you pay when you drop it off.
When you pick it up…be sure to check your clothes first. If you had a stain they were working on…make sure it has been removed before you hand over the money or leave the dry cleaners.
When I drop my dry cleaning off, I pay for it when I pick it up.
