I never noticed Baby John Burgess having a glass eye. Now that I think about it. Perhaps he has.

I heard a story told by Mark Brandon “Chopper” Read that an associate of his (Chopper) stabbed John Burgess in the eye during a fight on a beech in Australia. But other than Choppers’ story, there isn’t much info about it.
