  • In a RIGHT ANGLED TRIANGLE….BY TRIGONOMETRY…

    you must be familar with soh cah toa..

    Sin x = opposite side / hypotenuse … plz dont tell me you dont know this…

    sin x = 40 / 70…

    im using x instead of theta… cant find it in keyboard..

    sin x = 0.57142857142

    x = arcsin(0.57142857142) ie sine inverse…

    x = arcsin(40 / 70) = 0.608245579 rad

    in degrees = 180 / Pi * 0.608245579 = 34.8499045842 degrees

  • sin(theta) = 40/70

    theta = sin inverse (40/70)

    theta = 34.8 degrees
