  • 1. d = (2.0km, 29 + 90) = (2.0km, 119)

    x = rcos(theta) = 2.0km*cos(119) = about -0.97

    y = rsin(theta) = 2.0km*sin(119) = about 1.75

    Answer = (-0.97, 1.75)

    2. v = (4.0cm/s, 180)

    x = rcos(theta) = 4cos(180) = -4

    y = rsin(theta) = 4sin(180) = 0

    Answer = (4,0)

    3. a = (18, 270-41) = (18, 229)

    x = rcos(theta) = 18cos(229) = about -11.81

    y = rsin(theta) = 18sin(229) = about -13.58

    Answer = (-11.81, -13.58)
