  • 1/ Do + 1/ Di = 1/f

    f = 8.5 mm Di = 140 mm

    1/Do = 1/8.5 – 1/140 = 0.1105

    Do = 1/ 0.1105

    Evaluating I get 9.0 mm for the distance of the object from the objective.
