How do you measure 1/3 of a cup doubled?

• 1/3 cup = 5 Tbsp + 1 tsp

  1/3 + 1/3 = 2/3

  So, 1/3 of cup doubled = 2/3 cup = 10 Tbsp + 2 tsp

  Since 8 Tbsp = 1/2 cup

  Then 2/3 cup also = 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp + 2 tsp

• You put in 2/3’s of a cup. Or just measure 1/3 twice…

• 3/4 cup (in half: 1/4 c. + 2 T; dbld: 1-1/2 cups)

  1/3 cup (in half: 8 teaspoons; dbld: 2/3 cup)

  1 tablespoon (in half: 1-1/2 teaspoons; dbld: 2 tablespoons)

  2/3 cup (in half: 1/3 cup; dbld: 1-1/3 cups)

  4 tablespoons (in half: 2 tablespoons; dbld: 1/4 cup)

  1 1/2 cup (in half: 3/4 cup; dbld: 3 cups)

  1/2 cup (in half: 1/4 cup; dbld: 1 cup)
