There are several matches, both singles and doubles. Each match is generally 2 sets out of three. One of these matches might last from an hour to an hour and a half or so. The number of matches may depend on the league you are in. There may be 4 or 5 singles and a couple of doubles matches. There may also be a number of JV matches. If you are selected to play, you will play at least 2 sets, not just a game.

The average high school match lasts about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes depending on the skill level between both players. High school matches are usually best 2 out of 3 sets. My first varsity match (I was a freshmen at the time) was a scrimmage against a senior. Ironically we both were playing with the same racket. The match lasted close to 3 hours long. All 3 sets went to a tiebreaker. I lost the match but had fun. My teammate had a match that took 4 hours long. He had to give a speech at an awards ceremony right after the match and barely made it in time. There aren’t really time limits unless its getting dark out. There are breaks when players switch sides of the court every odd game. This usually lasts 30 seconds to a minute. I’m not sure but I think every muscle is used in tennis.

Varsity tennis matches 7 matches, if you make it on varsity you’ll play in one. Theres rankings, doubles and singles and they go from 1-4, doubles 1-3.
Lets say you play singles 4.
Ok so depending on how the team does it and how many courts there are, you play. Games last generally 1 HOUR – 2 hours, high school.
There are no advantages in high school tennis so the game goes quicker.
You play best of 2 sets, 3rd being a tie breaker if needed.

there are singles and doubles players, and one person/team plays the whole match consisting of best 2 of 3 sets
scoring wise: its regular scoring with ads, at least in colorado
depending on the level the players are at they usually last 1:00 to 2:00 at the most,
but i’ve played some high school matches that have gone to 3 hours

I played highschool tennis and your question really depends on who you are playing. If you are playing a really bad/good person, it should be over in about 45 mins. If it is the other way around and the person is about the same skill level as you, the match can go on for 2 hours

It depends on how close the opponents are. A closely matched game is longer then a wipe out.
