I am going to new university next week, and im trying to make my schedule. Some classes are roughly 1000 feet away give or take, according to the index on the campus map. So my question is how long does it take to walk 1500 ft? I will have 15 minutes in between class.
Im 5’11 180 with sort of long legs if that helps

You will probably be walking about 5 feet per second, so it would take you about 5 minutes to walk 1500 feet.
If you really want to be accurate, time yourself walking a distance, say 10 feet. Divide 10 feet by the number of seconds it took you, then divide 1500 by that number. That is the amount of seconds it would take to walk the distance. Divide by 60 to convert it to minutes.

1 mile = 5280 feet
A person can walk 3mph at a brisk pace. You’ll be walking about 1/10th that. 6 minutes?

According to Cesar Millan, no matter the size of a dog it should get 45+ minutes walking a day every day. You can also substitute a “walk walk” by putting them on the treadmill, but supervise them carefully. Also never exceed a speed of 2mph for any dog. (Some dogs might be frightent at first by a treadmill, but most can overcome this fear but don’t force them. It also helps to make there first experence a good one.) Like Cesar says, “… stay calm and assertive.” It pays off, belive me.

15 minutes is more than enough time to get to class. To answer your question, if you walk at 3 mph (slow), you can make it in 8-10 minutes.
