  • 1 cup of ice is equal to about 8 ice cubes from the ice -cube tray. Is that what you are looking for?

  • Cup Of Ice

  • One cup of ice is going to be 1 cup (liquid measure) of ice if you are making gelatin. Just put cubes in the cup and guestimate–it’s not an exact science. Don’t try to crush the ice or anything.

If you are asking a physics question, 1 cup of ice is slightly less that a cup of water as the water will freeze to ice and expand to 1 cup.

    Hope that helps.

  • 1 cup

  • I think it’s something like 4 or 5 of the big cubes.

If you have a package of Jello handy, check it. The directions for “quick set” tell you how many ice cubes to use in place of “x” amount of water.

  • about 2 cups

  • telling us what you’re trying out could give you more suitable answers. if it’s a drink you’re making, used shaved or cracked ice instead of cubes. if it’s non-beverage, use cracked ice. to do this, place ice cubes in a paper towel and use a meat mallet (or something similar) to ƈɾąƈƙ ’em up.

  • If you are making blender drinks, then it is an approximation and you can just guess because it doesn’t matter.
