It’s a wedding ring with many diamonds on top but aside from that, the band itself is 40k gold and I’m wondering how much it would be worth. I already know that pawn shops will give me bottom dollar and so my second question is, what’s the best way to sell it?

There is no such thing as 40k, 24k is pure gold. Most rings are 10k-18k. I sold some gold to an online company, they paid me almost 3x as much as the pawn shop offered me. www.goldenleprechaun.com

There’s no such thing as 40K gold. 24K is 100 percent gold and the highest gold content you can get in jewelry is 22 karat and that mainly comes from eastern Asia and some parts of Italy.

There is no such thing as 40 carat gold. 24 carat is the purest workable form of gold. I would take your ring to a good jeweller for a proper assessment of its caratage and also they will probably be able to tell you it market value.

Take it to a pawn shop and they will tell you, That’s the most of money you’ll get out of jewlery
It depends on it’s condition so you cant tell how much its worth if you cant see it
