Use the result from Part C to find the two solutions to the equation .
The equation 2x^2-3x-5=0
a=2, b=-3, c=-5
3+-suareroot -3^2-4(2)(-5)/2(2) The program asks this ?
Enter the two solutions separated by a comma. The answer I came up with so far is x=3+-squareroot 49/4 and x=3+-squareroot7/4 but I don’t think this is right totally please help I need to find the 2 solutions

answer is x=(3 + 7)/4 and (3-7)/4
x = 10/4 = 5/2 and -4/4 = -1

(-b +/- (b^2-4ac)^0.5)/2a
= (3 +/- (9-4x2x-5)^0.5)/4
= (3 +/- 7)/4
=2.5, -1
