  • if r and R are radius …..

    DB = r sqrt(2)…

    CE = 2 R sin(15)….

    DB / CE = sqrt(2) / 4 sin(15) =1.3360

    if you meant length of arc…

    2pi r x 1/4 = pi r/2

    2piR x 1/12 = pi R /6

    DB / CE =( pi r /2) / ( pi R /6 ) = 3/2

  • Assuming DB and CE are sectors and not line segments:

    DB/CE = (pi*(AB)/2)/(pi*(AE)/6) = 3(AB/AE) = 3/2
