  • I think that would be good. As long as you feel you look good and your healthy.

  • 5 7 120 Lbs

  • How much you weigh does NOT matter. Judge where your weight loss should end on the following:

    1. How do you feel?
    2. Do you like the way you look?

Put your emphasis on the first question. When you get to the point when you answer ‘yes’ to both questions, you might find that you weigh 115, or 140, or anywhere in between. All a “target weight” gives you is a meaningless number. Suppose you feel and look good at 125. Are you going to punish yourself to reach 120, which you don’t really need?

  • Being skinny isn’t necessarily a good thing, you know? I’m 5’7.5 and im 115 lbs but i dont conciously try to be skinny. I just have a fast metabolism, as do many people, so its all to do with your genes and hormones. You sound perfectly healthy to me, and yes, some people would consider you skinny. I personally HATE it when people call me skinny, because it implies that im unhealthy and are somehow trying to stay this way, but i still have the rest of my teenage years to fill out (im 13-14 yrs old) 🙂 seeing as you are turning 17 then it means you are near the end of your teenage years, so you will probably stop growing soon, and maintaining your weight will become easier because your metabolism and hormones will have settled 🙂 Happy Birthday in advance 🙂

  • I am a former dietitian and I can tell you that a 5’7″ woman should weigh anywhere between 120 and 150. You are on the very lowest end but still within range to be healthy. My concern is that you saying that you are still loosing weight. If you continue to lose weight, you will get into health trouble fast. Not to mention emotional consequences as well. If you try to maintain your currrent weight (or even gain a couple of pounds) and find it too hard, get to your doctor. It could be any one of medical problems that could be causing unintentional weight loss.

    Good luck!

  • I am 5’7″ and weight 213lbs size 16 jeans :(.. I am also trying to loose weight but my goal is only 150, hopefully will make me size 9-10.

I think 120 is way too thin.. your BMI would be in the normal rage so it is healthy!.. Go for it!!!!

  • You need to do a BODY MASS INDEX READING OR BMI!

I have taken the liberty of doing one!

  • I used to weigh 118lbs and I’m 5’7. So I think anywhere between 125-130 should be fine.

  • I am 5″6 and 117. If your body is healthy, your weight will be as it should be. As long as your eating healthy, and excercising your fine!

  • 140-155 I’m 5’9″ and need to lose about 20, I wish it was easier I am 44 now and its not as easy as it was in my 20’s, once you hit 30 it’s harder.
