Is it tenner or tennis shoes?

NetherCraft 0

When people say “I’m going to go buy some tenner shoes!” I’ve heard people pronounce it “tenn-A shoes” and I know this is just hoe people talk, but I say tenner, and people are always give a giggle and say “Tenner?” because I choose to actually pronounce it as it should be.

But I am unsure if it is Tennis Shoe or Tenner Shoe, or can it be both or are the both thing but different types.

Also Check This  Use implicit differentiation to find ∂z/∂x and ∂z/∂y. (yz = ln(x + z) )?

Does this make sense?

Hope you can help!

Thank youu!

  • In the UK that would mean you’re going to buy some shoes for £10 or for “a tenner” as we say lol.

  • its tennis shoes if you want to say it as it is, but tenner shoes would be a cute nickname for them

Tennis shoes, more versatile, better for when you’re trying to outrun the serial killer that’s chasing you with a chainsaw in his hands.
