I’m talking to this guy (on the verge of being my boyfriend) and he always says hun to me. So would it be weird if I said goodnight hun to him.

No. Words don’t have a gender role. I say that guys are pretty every now and then. Pretty, Handsome, attractive, it all means the same thing. Hun is just a love word like Sweetie, Babe or Love. If you love him back, it shouldn’t be weird.

I can’t speak for others, but I hate being called “hun” or “honey” or “sweetie” or anything like that.
