Is “Most appreciated” or “much appreciated” the correct phrase?

  • Both are correct, but are used in different contexts. Most = above all others. Much = a lot.

    We would normally say MUCH APPRECIATED before something has been received i.e. “a reply at your earliest convenience would be much appreciated”

    Whereas MOST APPRECIATED would be used after something has been received i.e. “my project was a big success; your help was most appreciated”
