There are two questions so please answer both 🙂
1st – Is there season 2 for Omamori Himari ? Because the ending was like eating sushi and it’s not like other happy ending like Yuto end up with Himari .
2nd – Is it weird for a girl to watch this anime ? I kinda like the storyline though…

For your first question, the project for making the second season wasn’t announced and still hasn’t. The manga is still running, but I do doubt there will be another season anytime soon, cause the ending of the anime really contradicts the path the manga is currently on. Personally, I hoped there will be a second season for this anime as there are a lot of questions need to be answered.
For your second question, I don’t think its weird for girls to watch this anime. Of course its harem where the main character get all the pretty girls but if the storyline was good & the animation superb, who cares? There are no such thing as “This anime is for boys/girls only”.

Now that the Manga has actually finished I feel it is safe to say the anime is as close to the ending as possible, seeing the anime was made three years before the manga finished. While the Manga obviously has a lot more in it than was shown in the anime the ending is near the same. The “happy” ending is that the group is still together trying to make Yuuto’s dream of humans and the Ayakashi come true and this is how it ends in both the anime and the manga.
While I loved the characters and the story and would love to see both continue unless the author starts a new arc we have seen all we will see from this story.

Sadly there is no season2 Xd yet (sigh) the ending was kinda funny though and happy so I m not so down but I still want a season 2
