So my mom asks me if I can straighten her hair with Ogilvie Straightener while I’m visiting. She says she already has it, so I say sure.
So upon arrival, I find that while she -does- have the kit, she lost the directions. I can’t find them anywhere online.
I’ve used it before, so I know the basic gist… Comb step one in, rinse, comb step two in, rinse, then use the leave-in conditioner. But I can’t remember how -long- each step gets left in. Also, one is supposed to wash one’s hair before beginning, right?
So if anyone has the directions and can post them here, yeah, that would be really amazing.

WASH BUT DONT CONDITION HER, LEAVE STEP 1 ON FOR 20 TO 25 MINS, RINSE OUT AND TOWEL DRY HAIR. THEN DO STEP 2 LEAVE ON FOR 5 TO 7 MINS. RINSE OUT AND CONDITION REAL WELL ( DO NOT SHAMPOO FOR 2 DAYS) HOPE THIS HELPS

put a hot oil conditioner on it cold. let it set for about 20 minutes then make an appointment for a trim. as for it curling well to be honest, a straightener is the same as a perm, only you are suppose to pull it straight with a wide tooth comb instead of placing it on rollers. so it does the same damage as an at home perm.
