answer: C. SiO2-molecular

can someone explain why SiO2 is the answer, why it’s not molecular?

  • SiO2 is a network. Each Si is actually bonded to 4 oxygen, two belongs to oneself (thus SiO2), the other two belong to different Si atoms.
