  They always fall back on the Bible. What a joke. (that’s 10) Here’s some more. I agree with Dr Chris, but the Pope (John Paul 2) released a statement saying that the evolution of the body and the development of the soul should be seen as separate. This allows for the Catholic scientists (and the resources of the church to be used) to examine evolution, provided they don’t go into soul searching (pun intended). The Catholics have also said that Intelligent Design is an insult to both science and the church, and should not be taught as science in schools. I was at church a few years ago, when the priest read a statement from the Vatican explaining that the official line of the church was that the universe was about 15 billion years old, starting with The Big Bang, which was first postulated by a French monk. It just gets better everyday. I can’t wait for the day when these Creationists start storming libraries and burn all the biology and astronomy books as blasphemous.
