Whenever someone asks me what my dream job is, I always tell them “to work for Southwest Airlines”. Southwest Airlines has a unique culture that cannot be found at any other companies. Southwest Airlines is famous for their warm hearts, giving nature and caring about their customers, employees and community. I always and love to fly with Southwest and from my past flying experience every employee seems really happy while they are working and made me feel like home every time I travel. There are no question why Southwest Airlines were vote to be the best place to work on many different surveys. In order for me to learn more about airlines industry and be successful in life, there is no doubt that I should learn from the most successful company. I dream about working for the greatest companies, but to have a chance to intern at Southwest is beyond my wildest dreams. I set my sights on working for a company like Southwest Airlines, who leads the aviation industry with innovative ideas, great customer service, and fun loving altitude.
I am very excited to apply for the “NoLimits” internship program. I learned that the phrase “No Limits” means as an intern at Southwest Airlines, we are allowed to have the freedom to learn and grow, the freedom to make positive difference, the freedom to create and innovate, and most importantly, the freedom to work hard and have fun. After reading more about the internship program I understand that the “NoLimits” Internship gives students real world experience in this fascinating industry. I can truly understand the story behind the best airline, and meet other people who have the same passion and interest with me. It definitely will help me to develop the skills I need to be able to pursuit my career goal in airline industry.
There is nothing more important than enjoy working at the best fit company for one’s personality. I know the best fitted company for me is definitely Southwest Airlines. I would be honored to contribute everything I learned from school and past internships. I know I am capable to make a change to the company and industry or at least put a smile on everyone’s face. Since when I was a young kid, whenever I see an airplane in the sky, I always looked up and wished that I could be up in the sky, flying that same plane. As an immigrant from Taiwan, I did not have any opportunities to learn anything about aviation. Until I moved to the United States, I discovered that anything is possible if you pursuit your dream, and I guess that is the moral of the American dream. The best way to predict the future is to invent it. I am inventing my future, and just as I imagined as a little boy, will be up in the sky, living my life in the c̫o̫ςκpit. I hope after finishing reading this you’ll have a picture of who I am – a man with a dream for this once a life-time unique opportunity and a desire to make a different in aviation industry.
