They believe in whatever the watchtower tells them to believe…

Jehovah’s Witnesses preach from house to house because –
Jesus foretold for our day this work: “This good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.” He also instructed his followers: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations.”—Matthew 24:14; 28:19.
When Jesus sent out his early disciples, he directed them to go to the homes of the people. (Matthew 10:7, 11-13) The apostle Paul said regarding his ministry: “I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching you publicly and from house to house.”—Acts 20:20, 21; see also Acts 5:42.
The message that the Witnesses proclaim involves the lives of people; they want to be careful to miss no one. (Zephaniah 2:2, 3) Their calls are motivated by love—first for God, also for their neighbor.
They do not force their message on others. But they know that people move to new residences and that the circumstances of people change. Today a person may be too busy to listen; another time he may gladly take the time. One member of a household may not be interested, but others may be. People themselves change; serious problems in life may stimulate an awareness of spiritual need.—See also Isaiah 6:8, 11, 12.
It is not possible here to cover all the beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses, but we invite you to obtain further information.

We are happy to invite you to allow you to discover for yourself and make your own mind up because seeking knowledge is something the Bible commands not just accepting anything.
The people who take the time to make themselves enemies of Jehovah’s Witnesses are not interested in Christianity in so to teach it or have any truth because it all boils down to hatred. They offer no good fruit or what is healthy.
Should you like to know more about the history, what we believe or anything else about us sincere Christians or about our organisation then we are happy to talk or provide information and importantly without any obligation or cost to you. You may be quite suprised as I was about how we really do live by the holy book not just carry it around.
We offer a wide range of literature that you can examine in your own time that is informative about Jehovah’s Witnesses or if you like you can arrange a personal visit, or when we next call on your home. Also we have our official website at http://www.watchtower.org/ or even visit us at our kingdom hall to see how a meeting is conducted and listen in. Times are posted outside your local kingdom hall and all meetings are open to the public.
Jehovah’s Witnesses are just ordinary members of your community who may fill your supermarket shelves, clean windows, work in manufacturing, a manager of a bank, a doctor, or sales person in a shop. The one thing we do share is a faithful worship of Jehovah God. Recognise that Christ is our king. We have love among ourselves and we all endeavour to preach the good news of the kingdom.
We have absolute unity no matter where in the 236 countries and territories we are citizens of.

I go with what other Jehovah’s Witnesses have said and look up at their website but better if you could have a talk with them. They can answer your questions you may have directly.
This Christian organisation is growing because people have found true worship and are unashamed that they live as true Christians not just by name but by how they live and worship.
You are not obliged to us to hear the good news of God’s kingdom but we are obliged by God to give you the opportunity to learn about his Kingdom. That is why we call on peoples homes because it is a privilage given to us in Matthew 24:14
1 Corinthians 9:16-17 “If, now, I am declaring the good news, it is no reason for me to boast, for necessity is laid upon me. Really, woe is me if I did not declare the good news!”

Personally, I have a friend whose religion is a Jehovah’s Witness. They believe in Christ and the name of Jesus Christ’s father is Jehovah. They are spreading the word of God

To find out what they believe you can definitely check their website or ask them, but they are instructed not to tell you anything bad about their religion.
It’s like anything, ask a representative and they will give you a glowing report, ask an ex-employee and you’ll get a scathing review. Somewhere in the middle lies the truth.
The Pros: (generalizations)
They follow the bible quite literally in regard to association with others.
They attend 2 meetings a week and are strongly encouraged to go preaching at least once a week.
They are honest and hard workers.
The believe that the afterlife is in a physical body on earth that has been converted to a paradise
They believe only a few will go to heaven to help God rule humans
They believe that they are the only true religion on earth and as such are solely tasked with preaching “the truth”
The Cons:
They are becoming more controlling and bureaucratic
They are encouraged to snitch on each other if someone isn’t following the rules.
They have their own legal system that has the power to shame you or kick you out.
Women do not have the authority to act as leaders for the JW’s
If you leave for any reason after you have been baptized, they are required to shun you even if you are family.
They strongly discourage getting a university education
The summary is, they are most likely good people, but misguided. They are not allowed to question doctrine and due to the structure, cliques often form.
Due to the strict rules regarding association there are many lonely and depressed witnesses that are told they are only lonely and depressed because they don’t preach more.
While individuals can be nice and genuinely good people, the organization is extremely callous and cold and only interested in getting money in to further their preaching.
If you represent a threat to them, they have invested major amounts of money in legal expenses to silence you and are quite likely to pay people off rather than get bad press.
One of the most interesting points is Witnesses are told to avoid websites like this one, so any witness you see here are actually breaking their own rules.

John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
You can tell aspostates because they knock other people’s religious beliefs but never teach about their own and offer zero tolerance nor anything uplifting it is always destroy.
My twin avatar is such a person.

Warning: I do not know who Sunshine is above me. Her Youtube link is pretty dodgy it might look all sweet but it is ringing alarm bells since it was not produced by any of Jehovah’s Witnesses but other people who may have other interests.
Go to our official website for our beliefs at http://www.watchtower.org/e/jt/index.htm
Jehovah’s Witnesses know our beliefs best. Like any religious organisation there are people who take their time to dislike us and give inaccurate down to untruthful stories to attempt to deter you from finding out about us. The rule of thumb is the more demeaning they are to us in do this the more they want to hide from you.
We are first century Christian restorationists that is we have gone back to the orginal teachings and way of faithful Christian life.
We are non trinitarian
And we use God’s personal name Jehovah
We preach the kingdom of God that will rule from heaven over the earth as taught in the Bible. (Daniel 2:44)
We are non political and non military keeping neutral to the affairs that run the world focusing our efforts on spritual needs and goals that focus on pure worship of God, the kingdom of God, the proclaimation of the kingdom (that is why we visited you) and the physical and spiritual feeding, care and welfare of the Christian congregations earth wide.
Coming to your door is what Christ’s disciples exampled in the first century by going house to house. This was not just to educate the Jews only the gentiles too since Christianity was not given to a chosen race unlike Judaism.
(Acts 20:20-21) while I did not hold back from telling YOU any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching YOU publicly and from house to house. But I thoroughly bore witness both to Jews and to Greeks about repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus.
(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.

===================================================================>
Jehovah’s Witnesses believe in an Almighty Creator, identified in the bible as Jehovah. They believe the bible is God’s inspired word. Regarding Jesus we believe that Jesus is God’s son and the only hope for mankind.
Why do Jehovah’s Witnesses come to your door?
In short they do this to obey Jesus command in Matthew 28: 19, 20. They love God and they want to obey him. They come with a comforting message from God (that soon the earth will be transformed into a beautiful paradise) and want to help individuals to learn about the bible so they can be there.
EDIT: Hi Kittehkat’s, thanks for the plug!! I don’t bite (hard) and have been known to purr from time to time
