I am confused i know NCAAF is college football and I know that NCAAM is college men basketball but i dont what they actually stand for.can someone please tell me what they stand for. first person to answer gets ten points but it has to be right. ill know if its even close so dont just coe up with something stupid to get the ten points.

the F and M aren’t used by the NCAA officially, just by the sports networks so viewers don’t get confused when looking at the score crawl at the bottom of the screen.

National Collegiate Athletic Association for both, but when you watch ESPN and they have to use shorthand then NCAAF – college football, NCAAM – men’s college basketball, thus NCAAW – women’s college basketball.
