What does anime ost mean ?

I hear that word everywhere, I want to know the meaning.

It means Original Soundtrack. It doesn’t just apply for anime. Movies, tv shows, games all can have OSTs

OST stands for ‘Original Sound Track’

The last two words are usually written Soundtrack. I suppose as another person answered, the O could also stand for ‘Official’ but that’s not one I’ve often heard.
