  • Citric Acid + Sodium Hydroxide –> Sodium Citrate + Water

    C6H8O7 + 3NaOH –> Na3C6H5O7 + 3H2O

My apologises fro my error, but it isnt that hard to make it balanced…i just forgot to add the 3 after Na…

  • For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/a3UAf

This means that 1 mole of C6H8O7 reacts with 3 moles of NaOH 1 mole of C6H8O7 yields 1 mole of Na3C6H5O7 1 mole of C6H8O7 yields 3 moles of H2O Thus mole ratio of C6H8O7: NaOH : Na3C6H5O7 : H2O is 1:3:1:3

  • C6H8O7 I assume is citric acid C3H5O(COOH)3

    so it’s an acid/base reaction

    C6H8O7 + 3 NaOH –> Na3C6H5O7 + 3H2O
