  • As a medical abbreviation (on a prescription, e.g.), it means “without”.

Precepts are breaking scripture down into micro chunks, word by original word and then building it back up. Line by line means verse by verse, book upon book. It is a style of teaching that believes that they can not do better then to teach the Bible the way it was written. The best example of expository teaching is Calvary Chapel. Personally I don’t understand why there are any other ways.
