What does “Slots: 2 (2 banks of 1)” mean in terms of ram ?

  • Your motherboard has slots for 2 ram modules. You are occupying 1 of these slots. That is good thing. You still have plenty of space to upgrade memory.

  • on you mother board you have the place where the ram fits is called the slots it is usually counted from 0 you may have up till 4 banks of ram or slots they mean the same
