I love the movie Donnie Darko and especially the character. Is there a anime or movie character like him? That is troubled or has some kind of mental problem (such as paranoid schizophrenia) and sees things, like Donnie Darko?

This anime is also incredible, btw. It’s like if David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, and David Cronenberg directed an anime.
