When someone says that you’re practical, what does that mean? When someone says that you’re conceptual, what does that mean? I don’t understand…Describe a practical person and a conceptual person to me.

To me, a practical person is a person that knows how to actually get things done, but doesn’t necessarily have the creativity to come up with special ideas. A conceptual person is a person that has the creative ability to come up with good ideas, but doesn’t necessarily know how to make them happen. In business, it makes a great team when there is a practical person and a conceptual person working together.

A practical person would want to put ideas into use. They would be the kind of people that take ideas and make them real. A conceptual person is the person that comes up with the ideas and plans.
For example, let’s say two people are going to build a treehouse. The conceptual person would probably do most of the planning, and the practical person would want to use his hands and get the building started.
