I meant to say “embarrassed” in Spanish class while we were doing an oral presentation, but my partner had put “embarazado”, which looks almost exactly like embarrassed. Unfortunately, embarazado means “pregnant”, so I said, “Estábamos muy embarazados”, which in English means, “We were very pregnant.” And the teacher starts cracking up, because she realized our mistake, and then pointed it out to the class. Talk about embarrassing… the right way, of course. haha
