a) 0.10 M AlCl3
b) 0.05 M CaCl2
c) 0.10 M NaCl
d) 0.10 M MgCl2
If I’m doing it right it should be A? .30 M Cl- Right???

AlCl3 dissociates in water to form its ions. Thus,
AlCl3 <–> Al^3+(aq) + 3Cl-(aq)
Because you have a 1:3 mole ratio between AlCl3 and Cl-, the [Cl-] = 0.10M * 3 = 0.30M
Thus, answer A is correct.
[Cl-] for b) is 0.10M
[Cl-] for c) is 0.10M
[Cl-] for d) is 0.20M
[Answer: good job!]

Yes…”a” is correct. The two things that need to be considered are molarity and number of ions in the formula.
